Merry Christmas & Happy New Year! Coming up in 2017…

I wish all Hej Sweden readers and followers a merry Christmas and a happy new year 2017!

May all your wishes come true!

>>How Swedes celebrate Christmas<<

Coming up in 2017 on Hej Sweden

Next year will be very special for me. I am going to launch new channels to inform and entertain everyone with an interest in travelling to Sweden and Swedish culture.

Book about Swedes and (weird) Swedish culture

First I kick of publishing my book “HOW TO BE SWEDISH – A Quick Guide to Swedishness In 55 Steps“. It took a while until its release, I admit. But finally, after two years of preparations and several months of writing and illustrating, it’s going to hit the shelves on Amazon in January 2017. I am really looking forward to all readers’ reactions. I believe many Sweden-visitors or -expats will find valuable information about how to interact with Swedes and avoid typical pitfalls in Sweden.

More about the book:

Original Swedish brands and typical products

Later, in Spring, you will be able to buy original Swedish products, souvenirs and handcraft, in my new online shop: “Shop of Sweden”, at I regularly meet producers of handcrafted goods of outstanding quality combined with a sleek design, often made in small quantities. Often these products, like wood-work, glas, decoration items are crafted by small family-owned companies who target the Swedish speaking market. I will discover, collect and present the best and most beautiful goods, made in Sweden, to you in the Shop of Sweden.

Sweden videos

But most of all, I’m looking forward to create fun and informative video content for Sweden-lovers on Hej Sweden’s YouTube channel “Hej Sweden TV“. You’ll be able to comment and let me know what kind of topic I should talk about. Or maybe questions I should ask my Swedish friends. Everything is possible. Let’s see where this journey takes us.

I am really excited to continue sharing my “Sweden-love” with you in 2017!

Mycket kärlek
