First, enjoy the view from the outside, then inside.<br \/>Time: 15-30 minutes<br \/>Cost: 0 SEK<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Stroll or run around lake <strong>V\u00e4xj\u00f6sj\u00f6n<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Discover the beauty of the park around lake V\u00e4xj\u00f6sj\u00f6n. And watch some spectecular art along the path, like a <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/vaxjo.se\/images\/18.17a5ac7215f413283d8168a3\/1508738753868\/Spegelboll%20lagunen%20-%20V%C3%A4xj%C3%B6sj%C3%B6n.jpg\" target=\"_blank\">discoball<\/a> or a peeing woman, called Elin.<br \/>Time: ca. 50 min for a walk<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sm\u00e5lands Museum\/Glass Museum\/House of Emigrants<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Depending on your interest or walking speed, choose one or more of these museums to get some food for the brain and discover essential details of the history of Sm\u00e5land. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kulturparkensmaland.se\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Opening hours and entrance fees<\/a>.<br \/>Time: 1-2 hours<br \/>Cost: entrance fee around 100 SEK adults, free for children (up to 19 years)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Lunch<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Time for lunch in the city. For a great avocado pizza, go to the Italian restaurant <em>Bella Lanterna<\/em>. A bit more classy Italian food can be ordered at <em>Massimo<\/em>. Fancy a restaurant awarded with a Michelin star? Go to <em>PM &amp; Friends<\/em>. Something quick? Asian? Check out <em>Spice &amp; Rice<\/em> or <em>Foodie<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Afternoon<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Shopping<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>After lunch, let&#8217;s do some <strong>shopping<\/strong> in the city center of V\u00e4xj\u00f6. Maybe it&#8217;s time for a &#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Fika &#8211; Swedish coffee break<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Having a <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/hejsweden.com\/en\/have-coffee-breaks-called-fika-swedish\/\" target=\"_blank\"><em>fika<\/em><\/a> is an essential part of <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/hejsweden.com\/en\/tag\/swedish-culture\/\" target=\"_blank\">Swedish culture<\/a>. For a typical Swedish fika go to the idyllic <em>Askelyckan<\/em> or old style <em>Broqvist<\/em> konditori. Choose a <em><a href=\"https:\/\/hejsweden.com\/en\/swedish-cinnamon-buns-recipe-kanelbullar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">kanelbulle<\/a><\/em> (cinnamon bun), <em>dammsugare<\/em> (green marcipan roll) or a <em>chocolate ball<\/em>. And don&#8217;t forget to <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/hejsweden.com\/en\/ticket-dispenser-in-swedish-stores\/\" target=\"_blank\">draw a number from the ticket dispenser<\/a> before you order at the counter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Excursion<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have access to a car:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Drive to the ruins of the <strong><em>Kronobergs castle<\/em><\/strong> &#8220;<em>Kronobergs slottsruin<\/em>&#8220;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Right after that cross the little bridge and park your car in the norther tip of the island <em><strong>Hiss\u00f6<\/strong><\/em>. On your way there, your GPS will tell you to drive along <em>Evedalsv\u00e4gen<\/em>. Occasionally you there is a nightclub, music or stand up events in the basement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Up for a beer, a special one?
